As we all know, optional details are optional, so all of these are just some musings on things I might enjoy. I also like the supporting characters in all of these works, so feel free to include as large a cast as you like. I'm happy with any rating; if explicit, fine with anything from the fluffiest vanilla fluff to serious kink. The top part here is stuff about my general likes, and then, I'm afraid, I just copied and pasted from my signup!
In general, I tend to like fics with a lot of one-on-one time between the main pairing. Last time I did the fanfic trope sorter, my top 5 were "seemingly unrequited pining", "enemies to friends to lovers", "snowed-in cabin", "A/B/O", and "daemons" (with friends to lovers at #6). I don't use the AO3 bookmarking function, but I post recs on this DW under the recs tag if you'd like to see the kinds of fics I've liked in the past.
Smut/kink loves, in no particular order: D/s, bondage, anal sex, lots of kissing, size kink (one partner much bigger than the other), size kink (big dick), stretching/large object penetration, double penetration, fisting, sounding, edging, consensual exhibitionism (other person(s) WANT to watch), stuff with mirrors, morning sex, people being overwhelmed by sex, laughter during sex, people being so desperate for sex they (for example) use bad lube or don't make it all the way to the bed. People being practical; people happily accommodating unexpected needs or requests from their partners. Sex tutoring (let me teach you exactly how to touch me). First times, including virgins, but also established relationships where they know how to do that thing their partner loves already. I have also totally been incepted into new kinks by fic, so this list has room for expansion :)
DNWs: Major character death, child death, amnesia/memory issues, blood/bodily wastes in sex scenes, non-negotiated infidelity, humiliation, polyamory in the main pairing unless requested (background pairings/moresomes are fine), and kidfic or pregnancy fic (incidental children are fine, just not fic that focuses on parenting or child care).
Smut/kink DNWs: breathplay, tickling, permanent injury, body modification as part of or for the purpose of sex, bound people left alone, watersports or other bodily wastes.
Prompts:
Lilywhites! My main prompt for this is one from the discord: an AU where Cara lavender-marries Jerry and Susan lavender-marries Alec for Possibly Spoilery Reasons and that's how Alec and Jerry meet. (Or at least one of those two marriages/fake relationships For Publicity without a full legal marriage happen.) And also Susan still has feelings about some spoilery backstory things so it's *also* the Cara/Susan/Temp poly awakening.
Also interested in: Alec's bad history that we only hear a little about, especially if we get some Jerry compare & constrast. Or feel free to combine those two ideas, or to give me something else!
I love that these characters have such strong platonic/familial bonds as well as romantic ones, especially given the time period setting. Feel free to give me a scene of just one pairings interacting, or a whole sprawling thing with lots of them, whatever you enjoy! I'd be happy with just a conversation or something a little more plotty (does Rufus have some business with the Doomsdays or Lord Corvin? Do Joss and Gareth have to wrangle a bit about sending Luke off to school?). And obviously, Corvin teaching something to Rufus and Luke sexually--or learning something!--would be gratefully accepted as well! (Or he can just show up and be a nuisance. That's fun too.)
I didn't req Rufus/Luke or Joss/Gareth because I don't want a romance fic solely about those pairings, but I definitely don't mind either one being the main ship of any story, and I'd prefer they not be broken up.
Basically--let David fuck! Let him run riot through the Ricardians & their connections, including the ones not listed here. Let him wreak havoc. David/Richard also fine (even preferred), I just didn't include it because I didn't want to match only on that one! Would prefer not breaking up David and Richard, but pre-them or concurrently in a poly situation, or just not mentioned is fine.
I will take absolutely every iteration of "Archie suddenly figures out his uncles are gay." Really. Forget two cakes, I would read fifty.
