(no subject)

Hmm. Just realized I hadn't checked my friendslist since I got the Email Of Doom last Thursday that I had the opportunity to give a talk today. I didn't feel like it went that well when I was giving it, but a woman came up to me afterwards and thanked me and said it was structured differently from most dark matter talks so she felt like she paid attention to different things, which is like...very close to my ideal compliment. So that was nice!

Also, Firefox spell check doesn't know "afterwards" -- it thinks "afterward" is the only correct option. Do you, my flist, agree?
