I remember reading a really old Snape/Hermione fic (on witchfics, maybe? or maybe I am thinking about the LJ of one of the witchfics authors) in which the music of Palestrina was repeatedly mentioned. I was not familiar with this composer, but I picked up a CD of Chanticleer doing Palestrina pieces...sometime during my college career when I saw them perform.

Anyway, I am just now listening to it, and let me tell you: golden. Score one for the music taste of fanfic authors! :D
