New Macs (I don't know if this means new models, or just any new computer) will not run Snow Leopard, or any previous version of Mac OS. The firmware will not allow it, and there is nothing you can do software-wise that will make it work. So if you're buying one, just know you're locked into Lion. At least as of Friday, there was no mention of this on the Apple website. So, you know, FYI.
